Cycas revoluta, commonly known as Sikas or Sago Palm, is a slowgrowing, ancient plant species native to southern Japan. Although it resembles a palm, it is actually a cycad—one of the oldest plant groups on Earth. With its symmetrical rosette of stiff, feather-like leaves and sturdy trunk, Cycas revoluta is highly valued in landscaping and ornamental garden design.
